Fannie MAYS

Fannie Mays, 91, of Dayton Ohio, formerly of Barbourville, left this earth to live in Heaven on Nov. 21, 2006 in Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was born May 20, 1915 To the late George Lee and Mary Jane Golden Lee. Fannie was a member of The Locust Grove Baptist Church Of Goldens Creek. In 1945, Fannie was united in marriage to Lee Beckham Mays and to this union, one daughter was born, Eunice Faye. Beckham also brought to their marriage 3 children, a son Coleman and 2 daughters, Shelby Jean and Rosella who Fannie dearly loved as her own. Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Beckham Mays. Fannie leaves behind to cherish her memory, 1 son, Coleman Mays, 3 daughters, Eunice Poindexter, Shelby Jones, Rosella Petry, and a host of special grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her and will always remember her, and the special love and kindness that she has shown them throughout the years. Services for Fannie Mays were conducted Saturday, Nov. 25 in the Locust Grove Baptist Church at Goldens Creek. Burial was in Wilson Cemetery at Goldens Creek.
