ALLIE MARIE LICKLITER MAYS, 84, of Las Cruces, N.M. and formerly of Swan Pond, died Friday, April 26,2002 in Las Cruces. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Victoria Philpot Lickliter, born to them on July 29,1917 at Swan Pond. Surviving Mrs. Mays is her son, Kenneth E. Mays and wife Donna of Las Cruces, N.M.; her three grandchildren and her five great grandchildren; her brother, Joseph Lickliter of Silver City, Nev.; her sister, Evelyn Mchugh of Avon, Ohio; her half brothers, Bland Lickliter and Michael Lickliter, both of Union; half sisters, Elizabeth Sowders of Barbourville and Betty Hale of Chatsworth, Ga. Funeral services for Allie Marie Lickliter Mays will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 3, 2002 11 a.m. with the Rev. Devil Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton-Lickliter Cemetery at Swan Pond. The Mays family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at 11 a.m. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. |
