Vonda Kaye MARTIN Vonda Kaye Martin, of McKee, Ky., was born Aug. 17, 1973 in Laurel County and departed this life Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, being 33 years of age. She was the daughter of Nathan and Gwendolyn Madden Seals. In addition to her parents, Vonda is also survived by her loving husband, Tony Martin and by two children, Dylan Hunter Martin and Gwendolyn Paige Martin, all of McKee. Other survivors include three stepchildren, Eric Dwayne Martin, Kyle Anthony Martin and Samantha Ashley Martin; by two brothers, David Seal of McKee and Ray Madden of North Carolina; by a grandmother, Lorene Seals and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Vonda was a registered nurse and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. John Vaughn, Bro. Mike Seals and Bro. Shane Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Seven Pines Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Blevis Morgan, Danny Waddell, Larry Patterson, Kris Cunagin, Paul Cameron, Roger Parrett, Gary Seals and Jerry Cloud. |
