Carol J. Mackey Carol J. Mackey, 66, of Grosse Ille, Mich. passed away Sunday evening at her home. She was a daughter of the late William A. and Evelyn E. Baker Murray. She was a schoolteacher and counslor and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Riverview, Mich. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Mackey; two sons, Shawn Falwell and wife Carol and Clayton Falwell; six step children, Carolynn, Edward, Larry, Arthur, Norman and Michael; one sister, Nancy Groat; one granddaughter. Funeral services were conducted at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Riverview Friday, March 24 with Bishop Jared Hendricks officiating. A graveside service was conducted in the Mackey Cemetery at Mackey Bend Saturday, March 25. Expressions of sympathy may go to either the American Cancer Society or to the Hospice of Michigan in memory of Mrs. Mackey. Local arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home. |
