Lillie Mae GARLAND LYKINS Lillie Mae Garland Lykins, 85, departed this life on June 13, 2006 at the home of her daughter, Shirley Howard, in Granite, Ill. She was born Oct. 7, 1921 at Cannon, Ky. to the late James Wiley Garland and Polly Harris Garland. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents as well as two brothers, Arnold and Bobby Garland, three sisters, Hazel Teague, Ivy Anderson and Norma Wagers. Left to mourn her passing are three daughters, Shirley Howard and husband Clinton, Sharon Mock and husband John, Kandi Byerly and husband Jami; Eleven grandchildren: Kay Floyd and husband Edgar, Amy Albiter, James Roe, Rachel Shrum and husband Mike, Amada Ronk, John Robert Mock, Charles Mock and wife Tina, Heath Byerly, Brandon Braden and Dawson Byerly; Great grandchildren: Jessica Floyd, Edgar Floyd Jr., Michael Roe, Marie Albiter, Danelle Roe, Pamela Curtis, Aaron Shrum, Austin Shrum, Alex Shrum, Courtney, Merissa and Ethan Mock; Sisters: Mary Ellen Bryley of Tuttle, Ky., Flora Garland of Winchester, Ind., Elizabeth Terrell of Gray, Ky., Clara Lunsford of Broadhead, Ky., Christine Jessup of Norman, Okla., Brenda Kay Tim of Mendon, Mich.; Brothers: Albert Garland and Paul Garland of Cannon, Ky., Lynos Garland and Garrett Garland of Gray, Ky. Memorial services were conducted at the Wesleyan Church in Winchester, Ind., on June 22, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Randy Yaryan officiating. |
