| JOHNIE LEATH, 85, of Harlan and formerly of Knox County passed away Monday, July 12, 1999 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Tom and Sarah Fairchild Leath born to them on May 11, 1914. His wife was Thelma Comer Leath of Harlan. Funeral services were conducted in the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home Chapel in Harlan on Friday, July 16 at 1 p.m with the Rev. Charles Kinney, the Rev. Robert Grubbs, and the Rev. Freeman Barton officiating. Burial followed in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith. Mount Pleasant Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
