Leona MATLOCK KIGER Leona Matlock Kiger, 77, of Barbourville, passed away Monday morning, April 3, 2006 in Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Pat and Mimie Murray Matlock and the wife of the late Willie Kiger. She was a former housekeeper at Union College and a former doll maker. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Anthony Matlock and wife Linda; three sisters, Zona Branstutter and husband Eugene, Nannie Mae Warner and Mary Matlock; three grandchildren. Services were conducted in Knox Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, April 6 with the Revs. Garrett Garland and Harold Miracle officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home. |
