Bernice Keith, 73, Horse Creek Road, Corbin, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2003 at Mt. Vernon. She was born March 13, 1930 in Bell Co., a daughter of the late William Lloyd and Maude Wilder Muncy. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pamelia Keith; a sister, Mildred Pigg; and a brother, William Lloyd Muncy, Jr. She belonged to the Lily Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, John A. Keith; three children, Suzanne Balog of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. John Keith of Okeechobee, Florida, and Rev. Mark Keith of Clinton, Tennessee; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Hendrickson of Pineville and Barbara Hicks of Alexandria; and two brothers, Robert Muncy of Royal Oaks, Michigan and J.C. Muncy of Morristown, Tennessee. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 15 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Horse Creek Cemetery.
