William H. Bill Johnson, 87, of Swan Pond, Barbourville, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2005 in Knox County Hospital. He was a son of the late Frank and Nannie Bell Farmer Johnson. His wife, Mildred Johnson, preceded him in death. He served during World War II in the U.S. Navy.He is survived by two sons, William Billy Johnson and wife Linda and Mark Johnson and wife Linda; five grandchildren; four brothers, Herbert Johnson and Sawyer Johnson, Edward Johnson and Lester Johnson; three sisters, Stacie Glover, Viola Lundy and Mildred Meeks. No services were held locally. Burial was in Seattle, Wash. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
