| E.J. JOHNSON, 51, of Artemus, the husband of Glenda Johnson was born in Gray on May 5, 1949 to the late Emerson Johnson and Owney Howard Miracle and passed away Saturday, July 1, 2000. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Johnson of Artemus; his mother, Owney Miracle of Barbourville; one son, Emerson Jason Johnson; four daughters, Joni Michelle Johnson, Regan Lynn Johnson, both of Artemus, Erica Maggard and husband Jimmy of Maude, Texas, Jill Buchanan of Germany; six brothers, Kenny Johnson and wife Beverly of Mackey Bend, Kenneth France and wife Debra of Kingstown, Larry Johnson of South Carolina, Bill Bowling and wife Ann of Harlan, Mike Bowling, also of Harlan, Eddie Bowling and wife Dorothy of Williamsburg; two sisters, Stephanie of South Carolina and Faye and husband Frank of Newport; one grandson; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 5 at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Lee and the Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Burial followed in the Williams Cemetery at Corbin. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
