| MARVIN RAY JARVIS, 93, of Kettering, Ohio, formerly of Knox County, passed away Friday morning, June 25, 1999 in the Kettering Memorial Hospital .He was the son of the late Dutton H. and Mary E. Taylor born on November29, 1905 at Jarvis Store He was a retired self-employed painting contractor. On July 20, 1938, he united in marriage with Lela Mae Martin in Newport. Survivors include his wife Lela of Kettering, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, June 28 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Mr. Jarvis was laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.
