Mr. William Glendon JACKSON

Mr. William Glendon Jackson, age 71 of Mackey Bend departed this life on Friday-June 23, 2006 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was the husband of Ochel (Terrell) Jackson for 51 years and to this union three sons and one daughter was born. Mr. Jackson was the son of Pitmon Jackson and Mary McNeil Jackson born to them on September 19, 1934 in Knox Co. Ky. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at Mackey Bend. Mr. Jackson was a farmer and loved fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents Pitmon Jackson and Mary McNeil Jackson and one brother Richard Jackson. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His wife: Ochel Jackson of Mackey Bend, Ky. One daughter: Alice Borgemenke of Rockhold, Ky. Three sons: William Michael Jackson and fianc� Starla Willman of London, Ky., Glendon Shaun Jackson and wife Karen of Lawrenceburg, Tn. And Frank Jackson of Mackey Bend, Ky. One sister: Sarah Elza and Wesley Maiden of Mackey Bend, Ky. Two grandchildren: Joshua Leonard Jackson and Colleen Shae Jackson of Flemingsburg, Ky. Mr. Jackson also leaves behind a host of many other friends and relatives to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be conducted on Monday-June 26, 2006 at 1:00 p.m in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Lee officiating. Pallbearers will be Shawn Collins, Bill Oxendine, Leslie Grant, Jack Brown, Granville Lee and Wayne Frederick. Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and neighbors. Burial will follow in the Jackson Family Cemetery at Mackey Bend. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements READ SUNDAY: Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home tonight after 6 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 1 p.m. READ MONDAY: Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home today from 9 a.m until the hour of service at 1 p.m. To the Jackson family, the staff of the Hampton Funeral Home would like to offer you our heartfelt sympathy during your time of bereavement.
