MICHAEL CLARK JACKSON, 56, of Pineville, died on Sunday, July 2, 2000 at his home following a long illness. He was born in Delta, Ohio on May 13, 1944, a son of the late Oscar and Marie Mills Jackson. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. He worked in produce for 34 years and was a partner in Jackson's Produce at Four Mile. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Partin Jackson; children, Michael Wayne Jackson and wife Connie, Bo Jackson and wife Janet, Amy Jackson and husband Grunt Jackson and Amanda Jackson; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; mother, Cleo Jackson; brothers and sisters, Oscar L. Jackson and wife Dorothy, Simone Landon and husband Pete and Joyce Catoe; step-sister, Carolyn Monhollen; nieces and nephews; and many others to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 5 at 2 p.m. in the Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Truman Partin, the Rev. Terry Cox and the Rev. Earl Hammonds officiating. Burial followed in the Bingham Cemetery at Stinking Creek. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
