| Imagene Jackson, 59, of Flat Lick, was born on Jan. 20, 1943, to the late John A. Jackson and Bessie Bingham Jackson in Bell County. Imagene passed away at her residence , Wednesday, March 20, 2002. She was the owner and operator of Bessie B. Jackson Grocery at Flat Lick for the past twelve years. Imagene believed in the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children, Dinah Kay Jarvis and huband Kenneth and Darrell Emery Dezarn and wife Michelle, all of Flat Lick; her four grandchildren; her sisters, Lois Taylor and husband Garrett of Pineville, Shirley Mae Slusher and husband Buford of Cynthiana; her brothers, Wolford Jackson and wife Nadine of Michigan, Edward (Vernon) Jackson and wife Shirley of Flat Lick, Clyde Jackson and wife Wilma of Michigan, Joe Otis Jackson and wife Seretta of Flat Lick, and Johnny Jackson Jr. and wife Carol of Louisville. Funeral services for Imagene Jackson were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, March 23, 2002 with the Rev. W.B. Bingham officiating. Interment was in Barbourville Cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
