Tip Hudson (November 11, 1939 - January 20, 2008) Tip Hudson, age 68 of Heidrick, was born in Knox County, Kentucky on November 11, 1939. He was a son of the late Lewis Hudson and Hazel Scalf Hudson. Mr. Hudson died Sunday, January 20, 2008 in the Knox County Hospital. Mr. Hudson was a well known house painter in Knox County. On June 16, 1962, he united in marriage to Beverly Jones. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Hudson of Heidrick; His Children; Charles Lewis Hudson and wife, Regina of Powell, Tennessee; John David Hudson and wife, Sharon of Greenroad; and Stephanie Joann Hudson of Heidrick; Four Grandchildren; One Great Granddaughter; His Sisters; Collene Carnes and husband, Frank of Heidrick; Nannie Mae Ballard and husband, Ray of Pensacola, Florida; and Margaret Ann Hamilton and husband, Bill of Barbourville. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Ray Hudson. There will be graveside services Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. conducted in the Patterson Cemetery at Heidrick, with Rev. R.P. Edwards officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday Evening at the Hopper Funeral Home from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. The Hudson Family have requested contributions may be made to the Patterson Cemetery Fund in loving memory of Tip Hudson. Arrangements are under the direction of Hopper Funeral Home. |
