Irene GIBSON HOWERTON Irene Gibson Howerton, 55, of Williamson, W. Va., formerly of Artemus, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006 in the Mingo Manor Nursing Home in Williamson, W.Va. She was a daughter of the late George Gibson and Viola Martin Gibson. She believed in the Baptist faith. She married Bill Howerton in July 2003. She is survived by one daughter, Judy Lynn Gibson; her half-brothers, Ralph Hudson and wife Joyce and Willie Hudson and wife Tressie; a half-sister, Betty Corey and husband Clyde. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, Jan. 31 with the Revs. James Michael Lawson and Herman Hudson officiating. Burial was in Burch-Alford Cemetery at Artemus. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
