Darlene Carnes Honeycutt, 49, of Walker passed away Friday, December 18, 1998 at the home of her son in Blanchester, Ohio.She was the daughter of Bessie Miller Carnes and the late Sawyer Carnes. She united in marriage with Junior. Later she united in marriage withDonnie Honeycutt. Survivors include her husband, Donnie Honeycutt of Walker; three children, Rodney Leath of Lovington, Ohio, Rocky Leath and Joseph Leath, both of Blanchester, Ohio; seven sisters, Arlene Asher of Arjay, Gladys Fee of Barbourville, Judy Marion of Barbourville, Phyliss Johnson of Barbourville, Susie Brown of Scalf, Peggy Brown of Scalf and Lena Bargoof Bimble; five half- sisters, Pearl Lee Williams of Tazewell, Tenn.,Vercie Gilreath of Hommerville, Ohio, Ethel Hudson of Mississippi, Lucille Miller of Mt. Vernon, and Edith Brown of Gray ; three brothers, Jimmy Carnes of Gray, Ellis Carnes of Barbourville, and Rev. Charles Carnes of Mills; two half-brothers, Jeff Carnes of California, Ky, andLester Carnes of Erlanger; and three grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted at the Tufts Family Funeral Home in Blanchester, Ohio Tuesday, December 22 at 11 a.m. Burial followed in the Harwood Cemetery in Dodsornville.This is a courtesy announcement from Hampton Funeral Home.
