Alonzo Henson, 85, of Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Barbourville, passed away Sunday March 5, 2006 in the Brooksville Regional Hospital in Brooksville. He was a son of the late Moses Henson and Biddie Lambert Henson and the husband of the late Nannie Foley Henson. He was a member of Swan Pond Baptist Church and a retiree of General Motors. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during World War II. He is survived by one niece, Liza Mae Helton; one nephew, the Rev. George Jones and wife Irene. Services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, with the Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Burial was in Faulkner Chapel Cemetery at Swan Pond. Hopper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
