Glendon Ray HAMMONS

Glendon Ray Hammons, 53, of Gray, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005. He was a son of the late Benny and Maudie Reynolds Hammons. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He believed in the Baptist faith. He was a carpenter.

He is survived by one stepdaughter, Searia Jenkins; two stepsons, Joshua and Emanuel Jenkins; five sisters, Edith Hubbard and husband Shelby, Mary Patterson and husband Clyde, Ann Harkins and Gale Hinkle, Nora Baker and husband David; three brothers, Benny Hammons and wife Thelma, Charles Wayne Hammons and wife Teresa, Willie Hammons and wife Debbie.

Services were conducted Monday, Jan. 2 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Patterson officiating. Burial was in the Grindstaff Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
