James Ray HAMILTON

Mr. James Ray Hamilton, age 56 of Trosper, Ky. went to be with the LORD on Thursday-June 15, 2006. He was born on April 28, 1950 in Knox Co., KY. the son of Luster and Thelma Ballard Hamilton. On October 11, 1970, he united in marriage with Carrie Frances Crawford and to this union one son was born. Mr. Hamilton was a member of the Warren Missionary Baptist Church. He had worked at the Buckeye Foundry in Cincinnati, OH and at the Artemus Kwik Mart. He enjoyed going to church, hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luster and Thelma Hamilton, two brothers, Dewey Franklin Hamilton and Orba Alexander Hamilton and three sisters, Gertie Hamilton, Alma Partin and Ironie Hamilton. Survivors include: His wife: Carrie Hamilton of Trosper, Ky. His Son: Frank Dee Hamilton also of Trosper Two Sisters: Chelma Partin and husband Dewey of Warren, Ky. and Mae Miller and husband Andy of Trosper, Ky Six Sisters-in-Law: Kathleen Hamilton, Sue Rockey, Minnie Wilson and husband James, Ann Logsdon, Marie Webb and Jimmie Knight and husband Goble. Special Friends &Neighbors: Tommy &Jody Wells, Jerry &Gloria Smith, Robert Johnson, David and Mary Hurst, Jessica Hurst, Les and Dana Butler and Scott Hoskins Mr. Hamilton also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. James Ray Hamilton will be conducted on Sunday-June 18, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Maiden and Rev. Gary Carol officiating. Pallbearers will be: Terry Lee, Jimmy Lee, George Wilson, Robert Johnson, Jerry Smith , Tommy Wells, Lelsie Butler and Jimmy Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dr. Hayes and staff, Pineville Community Hospital staff of 3 South, Dr. John, Dr. Reams, Dr. Bean and Dr. Keefer and staff third floor ICU at Central Basptist. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Family Cemetery at Trosper. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. READ SATURDAY: The family will receive friends this evening at the Hampton Funeral Home from 5:50 until 9:00 p.m. READ SUNDAY: The family will receive friends today at the Hampton Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m. To the family of Mr. Hamilton, the staff of the Hampton Funeral Home would like to offer you our heartfelt sympathy during your time of bereavement.
