Jabe Beve Gregory Sr., of Girdler, passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2005 in Knox County Hospital. He was a son of the late Henry and Pearlie Smith Gregory. He was a member of Horn Branch Baptist Church and owner and operator of Jays Auto Parts. He is survived by his wife Bertha Mae Wood Gregory; one daughter, Jeanne Gregory; four sons, Jabe Gregory Jr. and wife Janice; Dennis Gregory and wife Joanne, Danny and Jamie Gregory; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Earl Gregory and wife Cecil, Henry Gregory Jr. and wife Carolyn, Glen Gregory and wife Marie; four sisters, Ruth Wood and husband Robert, Brenda Sue Jones and husband Earl, Martha Swafford and Esther Mae Llyod and husband Charles; one brother-in-law, Crit Mills. Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Thursday with the Revs. Lonnie Collett, Alvin Dunn and Paul Frederick officiating. Burial was in Gregory Cemetery at Hammons Fork. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
