Arnold Gray

Arnold Gray, 89, of Corbin passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Baptist Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 1, 1919 at Four Mile, KY to the late Dempsey and Mary Gambrel Gray. Arnold was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, retired steel mill worker and member of Union Mission Baptist Church at Dewitt.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Smith Gray; three daughters and their husbands: Nancy and Phillip Bays of Corbin, Patty and Jim Henry of Hebron, Dorothy and Connie Bunch of Corbin; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Johnny Gray and wife Joan of Barbourville.

His son Norman Gray preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Dempsey Gray officiating.

Burial will be in the Youngs Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Peace, Travis Fuson, Rick Miracle, Donnie Bunch, Cornelius Young and Stephen Owens.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday, Sept 9 at O'Neil Funeral Home.
