Harvey Davis, 88, Ball Street, Corbin, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2003 at his home in Auburndale, Florida.

He was born August 3, 1915 at Williamsburg, a son of the late Robert and Mary Jane Moses Davis.

Harvey was a retired manager with Kentucky Utilities. He was a member of the Corbin Rotary Club, a deacon at First Baptist Church, and former treasurer of Baptist Housing Apartments.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Davis; two sons, Fred Davis and wife, Doris Davis; two sons, Fred Davis and wife, Deborah of Auburndale and Terry Joe Davis and wife, Yvonne of Corbin; four grandchildren, Terry Davis II, Tammy Hochschied, Mark Davis, and William Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Terry and Nicholas Hochschied, Marissa and Jordy Davis.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 2 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Phil Majors and Rev. Johnny Jervis officiating. Burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were William, Mark, and Terry Davis, Chris Hochschied, Charles B. Ely, and Ray White.

Deacons of First Baptist Church were the honorary pallbearers.

Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church.
