Opal Daniel Mrs. Opal Daniel, age 79 of Girdler, Ky. departed this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in the Knox Co. Hospital. She was born September 23, 1927 in Huntsville, TN and was the daughter of Jasper Jeffers, Jr. and Cansada (Brown) Jeffers. Mrs. Daniel was the widow of Clayborn Daniel and was a member of the Hosman Baptist Church in Pineville, KY. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and four brothers, Leeman Jeffers, Carl Jeffers, Emer Jeffers and James Jeffers. Those left to mourn her passing are, one daughter Zera Dunn and husband Tommy of Girdler, KY, three step sons Dan Daniel and wife Kathy of Ohio, Clayborne Daniel, Jr. and wife Karen of Ohio and Richard Daniel and wife Lou also of Ohio. One brother Roy Jeffers and wife Daisy of Barbourville, KY and one sister Nola Pursiful and husband Darrell of Detroit, MI, two sisters-in-law, two grandchildren Kayla and Alisa Dunn, 6 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Mrs. Daniel also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Daniel will be conducted on Saturday-September 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Lovett officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements. |
