Nola Ethel Cobb, 79, of Bryant Store, was born on July 20, 1922 and passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2002 in the Knox County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lou (Partin) Branum. Mrs. Cobb was a member of the Old Poplar Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. In Nov. 1939, she united in marriage with Arthur Cobb and to this union three children were born. She is survived by two daughters, Wilma Jean Evans and husband Lonnie of Milford, Ohio and Glenda Moore and husband Tim of Loveland, Ohio; one brother, Tuck Branum and wife Sally of Bryant Store; daughter-in-laws, Bobbie Cobb Bryant; four sisters, Edna Sharp of Loveland, Ohio, Marie Senters and husband Wesley of Bryant Store, Pearl Brown and husband L.L. of Hillman, Mich., Regina Balsbary and husband Hoyt of Milford, Ohio; and seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; also a host of others to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Cobb were conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 24, 2002 with the Rev. Bill Gray and the Rev. Arnold Petrey officiating. Mrs. Cobb was laid to rest in the Mays Cemetery at Bryant Store. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
