Matt Callebs Matt Callebs, 83, of Flat Lick, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005 in Knox County Hospital. He was a son of the late Lawrence and Nettie Messer Callebs. He was of the Baptist faith and was a tree trimmer. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Callebs; four brothers, John and Mary Jane Callebs, Sie and June Callebs, Clark and Betty Callebs, Junior and Ada Callebs; two sisters, Celie Jackson and Ernestine Bargo. Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Hobert Bingham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
