| MODINA MESSER BURNETTE, 56, of Dewitt, passed away Wednesday, July 14,1999 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was the daughter of the late Jess Messer and Martha Carnes Messer born to them on August 1, 1942 at Walker. She was the widow of George Burnette. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel onFriday, July 16, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Earl Hammons and the Rev.Vernon Morris officiating. Burial followed in the Carnes Cemetery at Walker. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
