Leonard BURNETT Leonard Burnett, 68, of Dewitt, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006 in Knox County Hospital. He was a son of Ethel Shelton Burnett and the late Riley Burnett. He attended Young Grove Baptist Church. He was a logger. He is survived by his wife, Anna Faye Burnett; his mother, Ethel Burnett; three sons, Leonard Ray Collins and wife Sandy, Jerry Burnett and wife Debra, Donald Lee Burnett; three daughters, Dolly Mills and husband Daryl Mills, Tammy Merida and husband Randy, Gloria Ann Mills; two brothers, Riley Burnett Jr. and wife Sylvia, Ronnie Burnett and wife Mary; one sister, Juanita Hamilton; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; three step-sons, Michael Bingham and wife Loretta, Ricky Hobbs and wife Lisa and Larry Hobbs. Services were conducted Monday, april 10 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Collins, Gilbert Collins and Harold Gene Smith Officiating. Burial was in Hammons Cemetery at Brices Creek. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
