| Mrs. Nettie Brown, age 70, of Fourmile, Ky.. passed away in the Pineville Community Hospital Thursday, July 4, 1974. She was born September 23, 1903 in Knox County, Ky., daughter of the late Jeff and Vinia Mills Merida. She was preceded in death by her husband. George Brown, May 6. 1965. Survivors include 13 children, Mrs. Josie Brummett, Belve Brown, Eula Napier and Karen Sue Napier all of Hulen. Ky., J. B. Brown of Clarksville, Tenn., Ann DeRossett of Fourmile, Ruby Baker of Detroit, Mich., Rosie Ling and Poe Brown of Kansas City. Mo., Georgia Craig of Palhfork. Ky., Dave Brown and George F. Brown of Warsaw. Ind., and Douglas Brown of Cookville; three brothers, Matt Merida of Barbourville. Ky., Addison Merida and Clint Merida of Hammond, Ky.; two sisters, Amanda Mills of Grays. Ky., and Fannie Hensley of Hammond; 45 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 7, at 1 p.m. at the Durham Funeral Home Chapel with the Hev. Roger Cheves officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family is receiving friends at the Durham Funeral Home. Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, in charge. |
