Janet BROWN Mrs. Janet Brown, age 50 of Heidrick, Ky. departed this life on Wednesday-February 21, 2007 in the Knox Co. Hospital. She was the wife of David Brown and was the daughter of Eli &Gladys Brown born to them on January 7, 1957 in Bell Co., Ky. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Old Ark House of Prayer and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by one son, Jerry "Jitter" Marion, one brother, Mickey Brown and one sister Joan Lowe. Survivors include: Her husband David Brown of Heidrick, Ky. her mother, Gladys Brown of Barbourville, her father and step mother, Eli Brown and wife Verna of Barbourville, five sons, Rusty Toothman and wife Angel of Barbourville, Adam Collins of Girdler, Ky., Ernie Collins of Artemus, Ky. Emmanuel Collins and wife Crystal of Artemus, Ky. two daughters, Amy Coleman and husband Larry of Barbourville and Jennifer Collins of Artemus, Ky. one brother, Jerry Brown and wife Brenda of Brooksville, Florida, four sisters, Kathy Smith and husband Jack of Girdler, Ky. Lavonne Bright and husband Ray, Marlene Brummett and husband Jeff of Barbourville and Sally Gallagher also of Barbourville, Ky. One special friend Bill Hubbard Mrs. Brown also leaves behind ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Brown were conducted at the Old Ark House of Prayer at Girdler, Ky. on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles Eversole and Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. Pallbearers were Earsel Hubbard, Dennis Dutton, Scotty Baker, Earnest Collins, Jeff Merida and Charlie Brown. Honorary Pallbearers were friends &neighbors. Burial in the Sizemore Cemetery at Bimble, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
