Claud Brown

Claud Brown, 72, of Scottsburg, Ind., formerly of Kayjay, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005 in the Veterans Hospital in Louisvlle. He was a son of the late John Will and Florence Mahan Brown. He was a retired machinist helper for the U.S. Naval Ordinance in Louisville. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn G. Brown; four daughters, Lynette and John Roberts, Deborah and Tom Stone, Dianne and John Waggoner and Marla Burton and Paul Cooper; one son, Michael Brown and Joetta Smith; two brothers, W.H. and Walter Brown; three sisters, Ruth Lawson, Beauanna Williamson and Margie Rhodes; 12 grandchildren.

Services were conducted in Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Ind., Friday, Feb. 4 with Bro. Jason Bagwell officiating. Burial was in Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Ind. with full military honors. This has been a courtesy announcement of Knox Funeral Home.
