Richi Lyn McDonald Broughton (December 13, 1972 - December 8, 2007) Richi Lyn McDonald Broughton, age 34 of Cannon, Kentucky, was born in Pineville, Kentucky on December 13, 1972 to Leslie A. and Mitzi Reams McDonald. Richi died Saturday, December 8, 2007 in the Knox County Hospital. She was a member of the Greenroad Baptist Church and was a Teacher Aid at the Lynn Camp High School. On June 10, 1994 she united in marriage to Perry Allen Broughton and to this union a beloved son, Blake was born. She is survived by her loving husband, Perry and son Blake of Cannon, Kentucky; Her Parents; Leslie and Mitzi Reams McDonald of Heidrick; Other survivors; Darris and Stephanie Broughton, Steve and Doris Broughton, Lenville and Nina Broughton; Dave and Jan Broughton; Nelson and Lovella Messer and Vocus Broughton all of Cannon; Pat and Purity Lewis of Jarvis; Linda Mills of Gray; She is also survived by a loving extended family; Nikki Sowders Elliott and husband, Shirley; Melissa, Dennis, Nathan, Brent, Vickie, Charlie, Tabatha, Logan and Leonard; Her name sake; Richard M. Reams and wife, Jackie of Sandy Flat, Kentucky; Marcia and Lewis Hopper; Wendi, David, and Chase; Kristin, Shawn and baby Kailyn; Harold and Geneva McDonald, Kim, Mike, Zak, Spenser and Caleb; Beverly and Coey Prichard, Joel and Michelle, Makenzie, Makayla, and Makara; Terrell and Robbin, Courtney, Whitley and Peyton; Richi's Uncle Sharrell's children; Sharrell Dean, Laticia and Donekia; .Also her Great Uncle, Truman Young and wife, Louise and daughters; Trula and Pam of Barbourville; She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Richi was preceded in death by; Maternal Grandparents; Hobert & Dorothy Reams of Barbourville; Paternal Grandparents; Ed and Martha McDonald of Heidrick; Special Cousin; Jeff McDonald; Her Uncle, Sharrell McDonald; and Her Mother-in-law; Edna Broughton Funeral serivces for Richi Lyn McDonald Broughton will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Frazier, Rev. Donnie "Duke" Hammons, and Rev. Sylvester Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the McDonald Cemetery at Trace Branch,pallbearers will be, Brent Sowders, Joel Prichard, Darrius Broughton, Steve Broughton, Linville Broughton, Steve "Bud" Broughton, Dave Broughton, Dave Broughton Jr., and Chris Broughton. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Larry Mills, Wayne Hall, Brad Broughton, Eric Canady, Terry Johnson, Pat Lewis and Nelson Messer. Friends will be recieved at the Hopper Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. |
