| HENRY BROUGHTON, Sr., 89, of Gray, passed away Sunday, May 2, 1999 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was the son of the late Jimmy and Flora Manning Broughton born to them on March 10, 1910. He was united in marriage to Nicy Bright on December 24, 1928. He was a well known Knox County Farmer and a retired coal miner. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 5 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Vernon Morris, the Rev. Leroy Warren and the Rev. Roy Stamper officiating. Burial followed in the Manning Family Cemetery at Roadfork. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
