Maxine Hyde Bolding, 79, Corbin, formerly of Friona, Texas, West Palm Beach, Florida, and Knoxville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2002.

She was born in Walters, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Homer A. Hyde and the late Lula Mae Greer Hyde.

She lived in Friona, Texas from 1929 until 1940 when she graduated from Friona High School. She attended Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She held degrees from Texas Tech. at Lubbock, the Bible Baptist Seminary at Fort Worth Texas.

She was the former wife of the Rev. R. Haskell Bolding and the mother of Jan Bolding of Corbin and Mark Bolding and wife, Julia of Columbia, South Carolina.

She is also survived by her grandson, Jason Lowry; one sister, Eva Dean Kimbrough and husband, Rev. Don Kimbrough of Friona, Texas; two brothers, Rev. Omer E. Hyde and wife, Neva of Tacoma, Washington, and Dr. Truell W. Hyde of Killeen, Texas; a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends who celebrate her life.

A celebration of her life was held on Monday, August 12 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Barry Howard, Rev. Don Kimbrough, and Dr. Phil Majors officiating. Interment was in the Pine Hill Cemetery at Corbin.
