| GARY LYNN BLANTON, 36, of Manchester and formerly of Barbourville, was born on March 26, 1963 in Pineville, died Monday, February 21, 2000 at his residence. He was the son of Betty Hensley Blanton and the late Dennis C. Blanton. He served in the Barbourville National Guard for five years. In April of 1986, he united in marriage to Sheila Fields. Survivors include his mother, Betty Hensley Blanton of Barbourville. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 25 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
