EDITH K. BINGHAM, 100, of Wilmore, formerly of Cannon, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at her home. She was a daughter of the late John Tom and Hulda Jackson Parrott, born August 10, 1901 in Knox County. Mrs. Bingham was a former homemaker and a member of the Sinking Valley Baptist Church and a volunteer at the Pentecostal Children's Home. On December 24, 1919, she was united in marriage with Tipton Bingham and to this union eight children were born. She is survived by three daughters, Helen Epperson of Wilmore, Vernetta McBee of Westland Mich. and Maxine Wall and husband James of San Bernardino, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, April 19 with the Rev. Bobby Abner officiating. Mrs. Bingham was laid to rest in the Bingham Cemetery at Cannon.
