| Wade A. Bays, age 67, of Oxford, OH passed away November 20, 2007 at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH. He was born May 17, 1940 in Barbourville, KY, the son of Leonard and Ada (Philpot) Bays. On December 13, 1958 he married Roberta Hubbard in Cincinnati, OH. Wade was a truck driver for over thirty years, mainly for Duff Trucking. He was a retired Teamster and was a 32 degree Mason and belonged to Masonic Lodge #346 in North Bend. He is survived by his wife, Roberta and two children, Robyn (Phil) Thyen and Denver (Sharon) Bays, all of Oxford, OH; four grandchildren, Emily and Alex Thyen, Amanda and Natalie Bays; one brother Lawrence Bays and one sister, Emma Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, James, Charles, Rob, and Winston; and one sister, Addie Campbell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on November 26, 2007, at the Smith & Ogle Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, OH. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will be in the Woodside Cemetery, Oxford, OH. |
