Esther L. BAIN Esther L. Bain, 81, of Barbourville, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006 in Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was a daughter of the late George Laws and Melissa Gambrel Laws. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Her former husbands, Wayne Black and Louis Bain, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, calvin Ray black and wife Thelma, Wayne D. Black J. and wife alana M. Black, George Thomas Black and wife Gloria, Virginia Sue Barton and husband Gary and Mary Etta Doolin and husband Terry; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ellen Frazier. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, April 5, 2006 with the Revs. James Vandy and Lonnie Collett officiating. Burial was in Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
