| ELSIE HELTON ANDERSON, 79, of Emanuel, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 24, 2000 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was the daughter of the late Edward P. and Rhoda Caroline Warfield Helton born on September 12, 1920 at Indian Creek in Knox County. On October 5, 1935, she united in marriage with William D. Anderson at Baileys Switch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William, on May 7, 1997. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, February 29 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Garrett Garland officiating. Mrs. Anderson was laid to rest in the Beatty Cemetery. Casketbearers were Michael Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Mark Anderson, Scott Anderson, Thomas Anderson and Brian Marut. Expressions of sympathy may go to the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes Association in loving memory of Mrs. Anderson.
