Carrie B. Williams Alford Carrie B. Williams Alford, 98, of Artemus, a daughter of the late Caleb B. Williams and Amanda Elizabeth West Williams, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2003 in the Barbourville Nursing Home. She was a member, former Sunday school teacher and clerk at Artemus Baptist Church. She was a past president of W.M.U and Y.W.A. Her husband, Pascal Alford preceded her in death. She is survived by her brothers, Lee Williams and wife Norma Jean, Dan Williams and wife Faye, all of Columbus, Ohio, and Paul Williams of Lexington; a sister-in-law, Elva Williams of Artemus. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, April 23, 2003 with the Rev. John Partin officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Artemus Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Carrie B. Williams Alford. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. |
