Opal ADAMS
Opal Adams, 81, of Boone Height, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005 in Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late John Davenport and Nancy Fields Davenport. She united in marriage to Charles Miller and five children were born. After his death, she united in marriage to James Dooly Adams and four children were born. She believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a cook and nutritionist at KCEOC.

She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Brown, Connie Smith and husband Don, Donna Throckmorton and Kim Bingham; four sons, Norman Miller and wife Beverley, Lonnie Miller, Tim Adams and wife Marie, Gary Adams and wife Jeanetta; four brothers, Boone Davenport and wife Edna, Kenneth Davenport and wife Charlene, Arlis Davenport and wife Teresa and Hobert Davenport and wife Glenda; two sisters, Pauline Patterson and Mavis Engle and husband Shirley.

Services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 29 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Peters and Ted Satterfield officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
