There are
numerous cemeteries in Jefferson County. This is an attempt at
identifying the more than 500 cemeteries that was once said to be a
part of Jefferson County. As you can see, I only have about 300 of
them. If you know of any not listed, or if you have information to
submit, please contact your coordinator with details. I'd love to
add them here. Surely, many of those old cemeteries were family
plots on farms that are now covered by the expanse of Louisville.
