The Patricia Patton Kentucky Room at the Johnson County Library hosts one of the most noted and vast collections of materials relating to genealogy dating back to the 1800's. Genealogy reference materials include census data, maps, books, family chart and photographs. A donation from the Riley Colvin Chapter of the Sons of the Confederate provides much civil war information, making this one of the most comprehensive collections in the area.
