Kentucky Room at the Johnson County Library hosts one of the most noted and
vast collections of materials relating to genealogy dating back to the
1800's. Genealogy reference materials include census data, maps, books,
family chart and photographs. A donation from the Riley Colvin Chapter of
the Sons of the Confederate provides much civil war information, making this
one of the most comprehensive collections in the area.
Johnson County Public Library hours are:
Mon, Wed, Fri. - 9:30 a.m. to
5:00 p.m.
Tues and Thurs - 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sat. - 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
