CHANDLERSVILLE SCHOOL and CHURCH

Chandlersville Schoolhouse and Church is located on RT. 3387 at Stambaugh,( formally known as Chandlersville until they consolidated the post office). Garfield Chandler was the schoolteacher here. 

Vicki said it was still being used in the 1940's because her father-in-law went to school there. It is seldom used anymore, but Vicki was married there in 1985. Once located at the top of the bank, the owners moved it down the bank and built a house there.

This picture was taken in late fall of 1999.
