Van Lear Schools Open Mon.,
Aug 27
The school at Van Lear will open on Monday, August 27, with the
following staff of teachers:
High School:
Hysell Burchett, superintendent and principal
Alfred Johnson
Mrs. E. Morris
Mrs. Florence Meade.
Grades:
Ray Conley, principal
Mrs. O. I. Risner
Atha Mae Lemaster
Mrs. Lowell Phillips
Mrs. Arzie Conley
Ann Beers
Mrs. A. B. Wilfong
Clyde Phelps, coach and teacher at No. 5.
No. 5 school will open on the same date.
A meeting of all teachers will be held Saturday, August 25, at 10:30
a. m. in the high school building. Every plan is being earnestly worked
on for a
successful school year. Parents are urged and encouraged to see
that their
child miss the least possible during this school year.
The schools are fortunate in securing the services of a staff of
teachers
with high standing and qualifications.
