This Indenture made and entered unto this 11th day of September in the year of Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three between William Jackson and Polly his wife of the County of Hickman and State of Kentucky of the one part and Lebem Wheeler of the county of Graves & State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Jackson & Polly his wife have this day bargained sold and conveyed and by these presented bargained sell and convey unto the said Lebem Wheeler a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the county of Hickman and State aforesaid and on the water of the Bayou Disha To wit the North East quarter of section fifteen Township Two Range Two West containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less for an in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars to us in hand paid the Receipt of which is hereby acknowledged & the said William Jackson and Polly his wife do relinquish all our right title interest to the above named quarter section of land to the above named Lebem Wheeler his heirs Executors administrators and assigning forever with all and surveyed the appertained there unto belonging free from the lawful claim or claims or in cumbrances of any kind whatsoever. In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hand and seals this day above written.

Kentucky                     Hickman County set

I Henry L Edrington clerk of the County Court for the county aforesaid do certify that this deed from William Jackson and Polly Jackson his wife and Lebem Wheeler was on the 11th day of September 1833 produced to me in my office by the said grantors and acknowledged by the said William Jackson to be his act and deed and the said Polly Jackson being examined by me privately and apart from her husband declare that she did free by and willingly seal and deliver the said writing and wishes not to retract it and acknowledges the said writing as shown and explains to her to be her act and due and consent that the same may be recorded. Whereupon the said do together with the foregoing certificate hath been duly committed to record in my office Given under my hand this 30th day of September in 1833.
