This the day of April in the year 1829
Know all by these presents that I, John P Moore, of the county of Hickman and state of Kentucky have on year and day above written for and in consideration of the natural blood & affection, and for the further consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge unto my nephew Stephen Henry Hanna given, granted, and (enfeofed?) in fee simple all the right, title, and interest I have in a certain Negro slave named Antony, and I do warrant and defend the same to him and his heirs forever. Given under my hand & seal this day and year above.

State of Kentucky Hickman County Set

I  Henry L Edrington clerk of the court for the county aforesaid do certify that the within deed of gift from John P Moore to Stephen Henry Hanna was on this 7th day of December 1829 produced to me in my office and acknowledged by the said John P Moore to be his act and deed hand & seal for the purposes therein contained. Whereupon this and together with this certificate are truly recorded in my office. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 10th day of December 1829.   HL Edrington
