Holcomb Jackson to Ezekial Rambo - Deed Book & Page to be listed

This indenture made and entered into this 22nd day of August 1853 by and between Holcomb Jackson of the first part and Ezekiel Rambo of the second part both of Hickman and commonwealth of Kentucky. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and seventeen dollars & 50 cents to me in hand paid by the party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged I have this day bargained and sold and do by these presents bargain sell and convey unto the said E Rambo a certain tract or parcel of land situated in said county on the waters of Obion creek supposed to containing the rise of Eighty acres be the same more or less it being the South West quarter of (?) twenty two township three Range two west the dividing line being  the same run by J Cook surveyor to have and to hold the same together with me the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to him and his heirs forever and I the said party of the first will forever warrant and defend the title to the land hereby conveyed free from the claim or claims of every person whatsoever.

I G Wm Rennich clerk of the Hickman county court in the state of Kentucky do certify that the foregoing deed from Holcomb Jackson to Ezekiel Rambo was on the 22nd day of August 1853 acknowledged before me in my office by said grantor to be his act and deed and that said deed together with this certificate hath been duly recorded in my office this 2nd day of December 1853.
