FRALEY FAMILY CEMETERY
Argillite, Kentucky
 By CAROLYN HINES SMITH
January 14, 2004
This is the cemetery of my Great Grandparents, David Crockett Fraley and Malinda “Linda” Barker Fraley. The Cemetery is up on the hill from the site of where their old home place once was. It’s off Culp Road going southeast out of Argillite KY. The lane that leads up to the cemetery is called Fraley Cemetery Road now and is fairly difficult to locate if you don’t know just where to look. Culp Creek takes a sharp turn right there and runs along the lane. This is complete as of August 2003 but the cemetery is still receiving burials according to posting filed at the Greenup County Library. 17 graves total. There are no unmarked graves. All tombstones are clearly marked. Graveyard is privately maintained.
