DR. U. G. HOLLOWAY, the third son of William B. and M. J. (Chilton)
Holloway, born November 29, 1852, in Woodford County, was reared on a
farm.  In 1876-77 he attended a course of lectures at the University of
Louisville, also the course of 1877-78, and the spring course following,
graduating in 1879, after which he took a special course on diseases of
children.  He located at Troy, Woodford County, and is recognized as
one of the leading physicians of that part of the county.  In religion
he is a Baptist.
